Colors and Line Weights

I've just made the conversion from AutoCAD to VW, and I'm having some trouble with getting consistent line weights.

The classes are assigned different line weights, but when we print, the color of the class influences the line weight on the printed document.

I know that in AC, you could use the "convert plot styles" command to jump between color based and layer based plotted lines. Is there a similar command in VW?

The color should not dictate the weight as printed, nor as it would appear on the screen.

Are you on a Mac or PC?

What version of VW?

What type of printer are you printing to?

If you are printing in "grayscale" then the color can affect the apparent weight. If the line is 85% gray then it will look thinner.

Low resolution printers do this more noticably.
