David L
This is a graphic template of the keyboard locations of the standard tool shortcuts for VectorWorks 12 (works for 2008 too). Also included is a customized template that I use. The template is a VectorWorks.mcd file, so you can edit it as you wish. I recommend you print it and attach it to your keyboard or display. You can rearrange the location of any tool to your preference, just make sure you use the Workspace Editor to assign the correct key to that tool. I will post another template for VectorWorks 2008, when I finish revising all the icons, but the standard tool shortcuts are the same as VectorWorks 12. Quote Link to comment
Chris D
Nice share. Good for new users. I like the iMac 'chin' suggestion.... Quote Link to comment
cad@sggsa
I have seen this now more than once mentioned that the Zero key on the nunpad is Top/Plan, which I did not know. I have always been using Ctrl+num5... Thanks for the Template David Quote Link to comment
cad@sggsa
Just to add on some Shortcuts I have always been using which are not on here. Ctrl+num4 = Centre page to screen. Ctrl+num5 = Top/Plan Ctrl+num6 = View all Objects in Drawing. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Just a note. Ctrl+6 Centers on all objects if nothing is selected and centers on selected objects if something is selected. Quote Link to comment
cad@sggsa
Yes. Thank you Ray, Forgot to mention that. I use this alot when Drawing layouts in 3D, switching between Top/Plan and an iso/3D view to get the object/symbol I'm editing to centerscreen. Quote Link to comment
