No, it's a universal binary, so the machine should detect which application inside the bundle to use automatically.

If you want to make sure, run the "Activity Monitor" application in /Applications/Utilities, and find the VectorWorks process under the "Process Name" column. Then look over at the "Kind" column. You should see the word Intel. If you see PowerPC, that means something is amiss.

But yeah, it's a universal binary, so there is no reason for it to not run as an Intel binary.
