Daryl Wood
I cannot seem to get a text cell to wrap the text in the cell and get it to stick when I close the cell. Is there a work-a-round? Regards, Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
What do you mean by a text cell? Are you talking about a cell in a worksheet? Or about a text block on the drawing? Pat Quote Link to comment
Daryl Wood
Oops, sorry for being ambiguous, I have lines of text in a cell that requires the cell format to wrap and I cannot get the cell to show the wrap when placed in the drawing. Thanks, Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Hugues Posted February 19, 2008 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 19, 2008 Do you mean that the text wrap is correct in the worksheet palette but not on the drawing? Does the text wrap at all or are the line breaks inaccurate? Hugues NNA Quote Link to comment
CS1
I am having the same problem. When editing a worksheet with a cell that contains a large line of text, I have ticked the box "wrap text" and also under row height ticked "auto calc height". In the edit mode of the worksheet it appears fine with the effected rows hieght increased to suit the wrapped text. As soon as I exit the edit mode and return to the design layer with the worksheet on it the rows return to normal height, I can see that the text is remaining wrapped but its like the cell height hasnt recognised the wrapped text.
