JGraber Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 I've installed an Architect TTF on my system to use in VW2008, but it seems that it doesn't like it for some reason. You can see in the photos that when I have text selected and am editing it, the font displays correctly, but as soon as I click off of the text it reverts to an Arial-like font. I have other TTF fonts that work fine. Anyone run into this issue? I have all the font mappings pointing to Architect and not another font. Quote Link to comment
rDesign Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 I've had the same thing happen but with a different font (not Architect). I'm on Mac OSX - so it seems to not be limited to one platform. This also happened when I tried to set the default font for dimensions: the only way I could successfully change the font was to use the eyedropper on a dimension that was properly formatted. Somehow I was able to make the changes stick - but I don't know how. Quote Link to comment
Dave P Posted February 14, 2008 Share Posted February 14, 2008 If you have GDI imaging checked in VW preferences, specialized fonts (Architect, Graphite Std, etc.) will only display when editing. They will print correctly. Quote Link to comment

Outlander Posted March 7, 2008 Share Posted March 7, 2008 I have a Graphite font that I bought from myfonts.com (I tried both Adobe and Linotype versions) and an Architxt font that was passed down to me. The copyright says 1992, 1993 Digital Architecture. Quote Link to comment
