Don Berinati Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Recently, upon opening from any 2008 file, 2008 began telling me it was opening for the first time (every time). This is really annoying - I was wondering if anyone had a solution or seen the same thing. It seemed to begin doing this after a SP update but I can't be sure. Permissions? Thanks! Pat Stanford Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 The first thing I would check is your preferences. Go to the VectorWorks Preferences and click the Reset button in the lower left of the window. This will delete all of the preferenced except your serial number. If that does not work, make sure you have your serial number and then quit VW and delete the preferences file. When you restart it will ask for the serial number. In both cases, you will have to reset all of your preferences, but I don't think that is such a bad job if it might fix your problem. Pat Quote Link to comment
