grant_PD
When I create a viewport and send it via the viewport creation dialog to an already existing sheetlayer, my existing border is gone. I've zoomed out and in, selected all and counting the objects. It's gone. Where did it go? Why did it go? Quote Link to comment

Pat Stanford
Is your title block on a different layer with a different scale? 1:1 perhaps? If all your visible layers are not at the same scale when you create a viewport, you should get a dialog box warning you and asking if you want to proceed. If this is the case, then you title block will be in the viewport somewhere at 1/48th the size it is supposed to be. Pat Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
Sadly, all of the above are wrong. The border is on the sheet layer itself, and is part of my default file. Since it's native to the sheet layer, class visibility doesn't affect it (ie. all classes are ON in the sheet layer). I wonder, am I not supposed to put it on the sheet layer? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Did you have a 2D object selected when you created the viewport that got used as a crop? Right Click on the viewport and select Edit Crop and see if there is anything there. Pat Quote Link to comment
brudgers
What class was used when placing your border? What class was used to draw your border? Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
The border is on a class that is always on. I don't draw borders, I use the border tool. Quote Link to comment
brudgers
My limited experience is that VW place borders in "0" then turns it off. Quote Link to comment
