jfmarch
VW still has not corrected the problem of worksheets with databases in that if you want to include areas of polygons, you must enter the field "=area/144" to get a square feet reading. What's up with that? ------------------ Jim McAuliffe, RA Quote Link to comment
Ken
One of my pet peeves, too. Worksheets apparently lost their sensitivity to Feet/Inch units. MC7 had it better. VW8 reports square feet if and only if you have units set to Feet instead of either Feet or Feet/Inch. I think this is an error on the programmers' part if they think it's not a bug. ------------------ Kenneth Quote Link to comment
Guest
We see your concern. This item has been placed in our "Wish List" to be changed. The reason that you are getting Square inches instead of Square feet is due to your unit setting. You most likely have "Feet and Inches" selected under your unit setting. You would see your square feet if you selected "Feet" as your unit setting however. Mike S. Quote Link to comment
