epluth
I downloaded the Toggle Group & Line Thickness tools from http://www.vectordepot.com/PlugIns1.shtml and followed the instructions (i.g. copy into Plug-In folder & and drag into current workspace). Following error occurs: "???Toggle Group View Pref not in Plug-Ins folder" Is there a different Plug-In folder for these toggle tools? Because they definitely are in the Plug-In folder in which I have also copied "Pt2PtCopy" tool. And that one works fine. And what does "???" mean? Quote Link to comment
nickdsa
I've had the same problem. I think these files are somehow corrupt, maybe the script is written wrong. Here are two plug-ins that seem to work for me... Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Switch to the Vectorbits plug-ins. There are two available: - Toggle VectorWorks Preferences - Togle Document Preferences. http://vectorbits.com/VectorBits/home.html Quote Link to comment
epluth
Thanks a lot, nickdsa! "Group Visibility" already works fine! "Linewighttoggle", is that the plug-in to replace existing line thicknesses? I was looking for a plug in to 'zoom line thickness' as you can find it in Preferences. Do you have this one as well? epluth
Hey mike m oz Unfortunately it says: Windows version not available Where can I find the plug-in for windows? Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Apologies - I hadn't noticed that they were for Mac only. The best place for third party plug-ins is the Plug-ins folder in your user folder (refer to the manual to find where that is located on a Windows machine). Try the plug-ins from VectorDepot in that location instead. If they still don't work your next option is to script them yourself and add them to your contextual menu. I'm sure this has come up before so if you search through the forums you may be able to find the script(s). Quote Link to comment
