Help - Grayed out layers not printing

VW13 SP2, windows xp, Design Jet 500, and Ricoh C3000.

Like the title says the grayed out layers are not printing.

Am I missing some new feature in the new version of VW?

Make sure you've installed the latest build of service pack 2 - www.nemetschek.net/downloads

I have service pack 2 installed. Is there a different version of SP2?

Help I still can't print grayed layers, Nothing prints in the layers or classes that are gray.

I have 2008 SP2 Build 83388.

It's not a printer driver issue because I get the same results whether I print to the design jet 500, our office printer, or the pdf print driver, and even when I export to pdf.

I have the gray level set to 70%.

Other people in the office can print just fine so it's a setting on my machine, but I can't find any reference to it.

Help.

Update: my desktop and laptop are the only computers in the office with build 83388, and they both can not print gray, the other computers are the previous build, and can print gray.

I'm now calling tech support

See if you have the GDI option enabled in VectorWorks Preferences on the computers that are not printing.

If you do, turn it off and see if you are able to print.

You may also want to try a new, blank document with a few classes and layers and simple shapes like squares and circles.
