CS1
When I scroll between my different Sheet Layers the page location is different on each one, how can I allign them all? Quote Link to comment
Dieter @ DWorks
In the VW preference dialog, you can choose to have each Sheet Layer it's own zero point. Uncheck it, and they will be like Design layers, the same zero point, so just above each other. Quote Link to comment
CS1
I have just gone in to my VW preferences and the box is already unchecked, I can move the page area on one sheet and as soon as I go to my next sheet it is in another location Quote Link to comment
CS1
If i change my page size from say A3 to A4 I have to go thru each sheet and change the page size and then move the page on each sheet Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
You can edit the page attributes of multiple sheet layers at once. Just go to the Organization Palette, select the sheet layers you are interested in and click the Edit Button. That will take you to the Edit Sheet Layers dialog box. Click the Page Setup button and you can change the page size for all the layers at once. You will probably still need to manually move the page on each sheet, as it scales from the page center, probably not what you want/need. But this is still better than having to change the paper size for each sheet separately. Pat Quote Link to comment
CS1
Thanks, yeah that is much quicker, I still thought there would be a way to move the page location and have it perform the same way as it does on DESIGN LAYERS Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I think the idea is that Sheet Layers are stand alone type objects. Each can have it's own page size and location. Makes it much easier if you need plots, 11x17 check prints and an occasional detail faxed. Makes life harder when you realizes that you now need to change the size of every page in a 30 pages plot set. Pat Quote Link to comment
