islandmon
PTHpastboard This is one incredible utility. It provides unlimited Clipboards on the desktop. It's a database of Copy in a small window with a pop-out drawer showing all the info each & every time you copy something... give it a try ...you'll never look back ... it's FREE ! MullinRJ
What's the difference between the Free version and the Pro version ($25)? It wasn't readily apparent on their website. Raymond Quote Link to comment

jbrhwy
Been using CopyPaste for 9 years & couldn't work without it, appears to have the same functions as pthpasteboard. http://www.scriptsoftware.com/copypaste/ Quote Link to comment
jbrhwy
If you want Copy & Paste on steroids try "Look Mom, No Hands" from http://www.toolsandtoys.com/ (Keyboard-free contextual magic). Quote Link to comment
amogle
I seem to have a problem with pthpasteboard that when i copy something in vectorworks and try to paste it it comes out as a bad quality jpg rather than the group of objects i wanted it to copy. is there a way to solve this? or does it just mean it doesnt work with vectorworks? sig_eigei
I use PTH Pasteboard as well. I assume you are talking about copying from within VW and then later trying to paste from PTH Pasteboard back into VW. In my experience it doesn't work. I find that you can only paste the most recent object which you copied to the system Clipboard with the Copy command to avoid getting the strange behavior you describe. Don't expect proper results when pasting a VW object from the PTH Pasteboard queue back into VW. Perhaps try writing to the folks at PTH. They might ben interested but they be reluctant to sort it out on the free version. Quote Link to comment
amogle
Oh dear. its the same problem i have had with iclip as well. I was just got excited that PTH might work with vectorworks as it was on the vectorworks tech board. Quote Link to comment

Works flawlessly for me OS10.4.11 Quote Link to comment
boxjoint
Sadly, I can't get PTH Pasteboard to work properly either. When I paste an object from the list, it pastes as a bitmap. The OIP says it is a 32 bit PNG image. Quote Link to comment
sig_eigei
islandmon - do you use PTH Pasteboard Pro? What are your settings for the Queue? Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Nope .. just the plain vanilla free install. And it works splendidly with VW11.5.1 & OSX 4.11. The Pro upgrade is really worthwhile for coders. Quote Link to comment
sig_eigei
that's interesting. I wonder if you have your prefs in PTH setup differently than I. Maybe VW v11 works differently with the HMTL that PTH pastes in. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
The PTH preferences are default ... Did you install the Leopard version ? Probably has something to do with OS >VW2008 >clipboard interpreters As a test ...Photoshop&GraphicConverter are also flawless with PTHpasteboard. Your issue may point to a serious protocol conflict between Leopard & VW2008. As far as OSX is concerned VW2008 may be a "closed" container... not good ... not good at all. Try using PTH with other Leopard apps.. PTH has an install specifically for Leopard. Quote Link to comment
