CS1
Once I have created a roof I want to divide one face into two. How can I do this? There doesnt seem to be any editable features once the roof has been drawn apart from soffit widths Z axis etc. Quote Link to comment
brudgers
[menu] Modify-->Edit Group This will allow you direct access to the roof plane objects. You can also paste 2d shapes to clip the roof object here. And that's just way cool Edited January 23, 2008 by brudgers Quote Link to comment
Damon Design
Just a reminder to always try to use the roof tool to create any additional elements ie. dormers, soffits, facias etc... that you might need before you ungroup the roof to edit. Those additional elements are not available for the roof face, and more difficult to create afterwards. Quote Link to comment
brudgers
[menu] Modify-->Edit Group doesn't ungroup the roof. The group remains intact after you exit. Quote Link to comment
dcont
I wish there was a way to add elements the same way that you can clip. It should work the same way I can add a polygon or clip a polygon from a floor object or other polygon. Quote Link to comment
Guest
dcont - you should be able to add elements in the same fashion. Quote Link to comment
