CS1 Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 I have created an EXTRUSION of a POLYGON which I am using for a deck. Can I give the EXTRUSION a hatch of say timber decking (a series of vertical line) so that it looks good in plan view with out having to use TEXTURES? I know I can achieve a similar look with textures by fine tuning the settings but it never looks as good as a hatch. VW2008 Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 If you use the FLOOR object (instead of a simple extrude) you can apply a 2d Hatch (or fill) to it which will show up in top/plan view. You can create a FLOOR from any 2d poly... Quote Link to comment
