otto
I am trying to get the Set 3D-view option in Vectorworks to act more like a "camera". I would like to set the lens sizes (24mm, 35mm, 55mm, etc.) so that we can link a view to an actual photo. Can this be done or is the Perspective number you put in just a number and has no relation to reality? Or is 24 = to 24mm, 55 = 55mm? Would I have to use another program to get this? I know ArchiCAD at least shows you the camera location and info so you can move it and the path it travels around very easily. Will I have to switch to ArchiCAD? Any info would help. otto Quote Link to comment
Ken
If it's any help, it seems to me that "normal" perspective looks very very much like the view angle taken from a 50mm lens. ------------------ Kenneth Quote Link to comment
Danielj1
Here's a tool you can get on-line that may provide the answer: http://members.aol.com/danielj101/FOV.htm Kindest regards, Dan Jansenson Quote Link to comment
