lightnb
I'm using VW 11. When I zoom in to look at part of the drawing closely, all of these blue grid lines show up, making it really difficult to see what I'm working on. How can I turn off this grid? How soon (after zooming inward) it appears seems to be affected by layer scale, but how to get rid of it altogether? Thanks, LNB Quote Link to comment
bc
Go to TOOLS>Set Grid (Command 8 on a mac) and uncheck the show grid lines box in the "grid options" area. 1 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Or double click the Snap Grid Constraint in the contraints palette (top left if set two wide x 5 tall). This will let you set the spacing of the grid and turn it on or off, both for the snap grid and the display grid. Pat Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
What is the reference grid set to? I sounds like you have it set to a small measurment. If you set it to 12" or 24" it is a great reference and doesn't get in the way. Quote Link to comment
lightnb
Thanks everyone. That's the menu I was looking for. I can get to it by double-clicking "snap to grid" in the constraints palate, and by using CTRL + 8, but can't find that option under the "tool" menu. Thanks again, LNB Edited January 19, 2008 by lightnb Quote Link to comment
