CS1
The dimension tool drops red squares on the page at locations where the dimension is referenced. Is there a way to remove these or change their appearance? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
The red squares mean that they are associative dimensions. That is if you change the size of the dimensioned object, the dimensions will change also. The red squares are for on-screen reference only and do not print. If you don't want to use associative dimensions, there is a check box in the Document Preferences, Dimension tab to turn them off. Pat Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
the red squares don?t print, so don?t worry about them. I advise against tuning them off. If you turn off the red squares you will not be able to tell if your dimensions are associated or not... Quote Link to comment

Guest Wes Gardner
You can also turn off the red squares by going to View >> Show >> Show or Hide Constraints Quote Link to comment
