VW 12.5.3 Export to DWG - Crash

I have been trying to export a file to DWG to submit to a subcontractor for some time now, and no matter what I do, the program crashes. It crashes on my machine and several others around the office. The file has been purged, I've tried exporting the very minimum I can, I've tried exporting to the most ancient form of DWG, nothing, still crashes.

VW allows me to start the process, starts creating blocks, and then dies, giving me the standard OS error. "The application VectorWorks quit unexpectedly."

Mac OS 10.4.11, VW 12.5.3, the file is on the desktop, trying to export to the desktop.

I've attached images of the process I would like to complete. Is there some red flag that I am missing?

I, too, am having problems with VW crashing. I am running VW2008 on a Dell XPS 410 with 4GB Ram using Vista pro.

It first crashed when I tried to export to a DWG. It then started crashing when I tired to print to pdf--something I was originally able to do. Finally, it now crashes when I try to "save as."

Any thoughts?
