cdavis Posted January 2, 2008 Share Posted January 2, 2008 In SP2, I try to select Plants using Symbols and select the Plant name. Nothing shows as selected. Not even in the Object info. I think it was working in SP1. I am using SP2 build 82613. Quote Link to comment
Guest Posted January 2, 2008 Share Posted January 2, 2008 Custom Selection will only select objects based on class and layer visibility, layer scale, and view. If your active layer is not set to the same scale and Top/Plan view as the other layers, you won't be able to select objects on other layers. In addition, if your class and layer options do not allow you to select objects in other classes/layers, Custom Selection won't let you do it either. Quote Link to comment

Guest Posted January 2, 2008 Share Posted January 2, 2008 Without custom selection, can you select one of the objects you are trying to select? Is your active layer set to the same layer scale as the layer with the desired objects? Are both (all) layers set to a top/plan view? Quote Link to comment
