Can't find crop object

I'm going back to some viewports to resize the crop object but cannot select the crop object

When I 'edit crop' i go into the window but when I select-all there is nothing to select. there is definitely a crop object.

I turn all classes and layers on and try select-all with no luck.

I also try Alt-select with a huge marquee.

I'm stumped

I can't remember if I turned the original crop object white or put it on the guides class which is normally off. Either way I should be able to select it...

Any ideas?

The crop object is in a class that is turned off. To double check that you do have a crop object, enter crop edit and try to make another crop and exit crop edit. You'll get an error message. Do a search of the message board, there has been a few discussions of this.

If you turned it white selecting all while editing the VP Crop will select it. If you put it in a class and turned it off you have to make the class visable in order to select the crop.

Yes I have turned on ALL classes and ALL layers and cannot select the crop object.

I tried to make a new one to verify that one exists and yes there definitely is one.

Make sure the classes are visible in the drawing AND the viewport.

Still can't get it. All classes are on in the sheet and in the viewport.

Now the navigator has stopped working. hmmm.

I'll try restarting everything...

Had to delete the workspace and replace with back up to get navigator working.

However, the crop object problem remains.

Try entering Edit Crop on the viewport then Select All, see if the handles appear. It's possible the Pen got set to none or a 0 thinkness.

Yup tried that. No luck.

I'm still convinced it's a class issue, this has come up many times. In the future always put your crop objects in the none class when you draw it.
