Problems with window & doors IDs when importing to VW 2008

Hello,

When I open (import) older VW files into VW 2008, I am seeing my window and door IDs "destroyed." Where they were once happy hexagons and circles with the ID# and a leader, they are no just the ID# with a line through them, no polygon, no leader - they also seem impossible to delete, now part of the window or door object. What gives? What to do?

Graham, IDs are part of windows and doors now, enabled by the "On schedule" property. Since you can see your ID text, I'm guessing that one of two things is happening here: Either the "bubble shape" is set to "None" or the "Bubble Size" (which is expressed in page dimensions) is set too small.

You can fix these issues for all the doors or windows in your document by using the new "Custom Modification" command, which allows you to define a set of objects to work on (such as "all windows") and then give you s property dialog (essentially a OI palette) to set these options in.
