conwaynyc
I've installed VW Architect 2008 under a new directory on my PC/XP and I am pretty happy with it. Now, I'd like to uninstally my previous version of VW12.5 which is in an old directory, but when I go to "Add or Remove Programs" in the control panel, neither of the Vectorworks applications are listed. Is there another way to uninstall my earlier VW12.5? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Simply delete the VW 12 folder from Program Files. Quote Link to comment
billtheia
What about preference files and Application Support folders? Quote Link to comment
conwaynyc
Do I need to do anything in the Windows Registry? I notice that I have two folders there: one is VectorWorks 12 and the other is VectorWork 13. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
billtheia
Oops - I missed that you were on a PC. There should be an entry for VW in Control Panels>Add/Remove Programs. If you use that to remove the program, it should remove all associated files and registry entries. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Conway It doesn't hurt leaving the registry keys there, but you can delete the VW 12 folders in the registry if you want. Bill Add Remove programs only removes a portion of the registry keys. It does not remove the installed folder. Quote Link to comment
