Jim Smith
A big help would be the ability to be able to set the visibility of a layer or class to DASHED LINES, especially for when Demo drawings are required, but also for other things such as post above, post below. Quote Link to comment
0 CipesDesign
This can be accomplished using classes, set to 'use at creation' in (at least) two ways: 1) Use a dashed line for the class definition, or 2) Use VP Class Override to change to dashed line for a particular VP or VP's... 0 Taproot
PS, if classes aren't convenient for you, you can copy the viewport in question, and turn off all of the layers except the demo layer and then override all of the classes to dashes at once. Then, by stacking the copied viewport under the orignial (turn demo off in the original),you'll get the look you're after. It's a small work around, but effective. Quote Link to comment

0 Jim Smith
I didn't read Taproot's post, that workaround may work. Thanks. Peter, the prob. with your suggestion (if I understand) is other dashed lines & walls with components are also altered. As a suggestion I still would like to have a Class/Layer "DASH LINE" option as grey does not really work that well on our laser printer. While the opacity of layers is an improvement, this would also better as a Viewport option. Quote Link to comment
