fsquires
So far I've tested Vectorworks 2008 with 4 network users on Leopard. 2 work fine but 2 bounce a few times and then stop. No crash is reported in the crash log and nothing is reported in any of the other logs that I could find. Also, nothing is printed to the command line if I launch it from the command line. I've tried deleting the preferences (net.nemetschek.vectorworks.plist and net.nemetschek.vectorworks.spotlightimporter.plist) and the 2008 folder under Application support. Does anyone have any ideas about anything else to try? Quote Link to comment
fsquires
Also, I reset the permissions on the home folders to 777 and reinstalled Vectorworks from one of the non-working users. It also fails to run in one user account on the same machine where another works, which is why I think it's a user account problem. Quote Link to comment
Guest
This is definitely indicative of a user account problem. A number of Mac experts in forums have discussed the benefits of installing Leopard new, rather than choosing an upgrade path. You may want/need to install Leopard as a fresh install on the computers, creating new user accounts. In the interim, creating new user accounts should put a band-aid on the issue.
