How to Import AutoCAD 2000 DWG/DXF

Recommended Posts

Did you know if you want to import DWG/DXF files from AutoCAD, you can import them into PlotMaker 2.2 and then export them as DWG v14 that VectorWorks can read.

can avoid having to use plotmaker and just export the dwg/dxf from autocad 2000 as version 13 or 14 which can both be read via the save as option under file-- it works pretty dependably and avoids having to use another third party program
