Guest
Go to VW Prefs under the Tools > Options menu. Click on the Display tab Click on the Edit Font Mappings button If you see your desired font listed, select it and click on the Delete button. Quote Link to comment
digitalcarbon
still not working! when i edit my section marker for any reason even if i don not change anything it changes my font to Futura. this does not show up in my mapping box. we need to have a way to LOCK in only the fonts we use for a drawing!! Guest
What font are you trying to use? Have you run Disk Utility and/or a font repair program? Do you have Quartz imaging enabled? Quote Link to comment
digitalcarbon
font is times have not run any utilities q imaging is on i just set the file to atimmons in tech support if you need to look at it Edited November 19, 2007 by digitalmechanics Quote Link to comment
Guest
Try running disk utility first. You may still want/need to run a font repair utility. If VW isn't recognizing it, there's likely a problem with the font itself. VW is particular about the fonts being in order. Quote Link to comment
digitalcarbon
ok but it happens on two computers. i am home to day but last friday i was in the office when i noticed the font problem. and why does it not change my general text? only dims, section/elevation markers, door markers, window markers & stair markers are affected. things that the system makes. Tim P.
Try turning off GDI, and see if that helps. Many fonts will not display properly if GDI+imaging is checked on. I've been informed by Tech Support that it is not a bug and it is not on the list to be addressed in any patches. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Digital, It's hard to say. Lefty - GDI imaging is a PC-only feature. The equivalent is Quartz imaging on a Mac. Quote Link to comment
