LarryAZ
I upgraded to 12.5.3 over the web. Got the message "install was successful". When I launch the program it still says it's 12.5.2(71041). Did I do something wrong? Quote Link to comment

0 Guest
You are going to have to reinstall from the disks, then run the updater. When you installed Leopard, did you run an update or do a clean install? Quote Link to comment
0 LarryAZ
Katie, I'm still running 10.4.10 not Leopard. I have had problems upgrading from the web before so I will call the sales department for the DVD. thanks, Quote Link to comment
0 Guest
There is no 12.5.3 install disk and I don't anticipate one being printed. You may want to simply reinstall from the installation disk, then run the 12.5.3 updater. Quote Link to comment
0 LarryAZ
OK downloaded another copy of the updater. Ran the installation and everything acted like it was fine right up to the end. The message says the installation was successful. I have two copies in my 12.5.2 folder. This is what happens when I try to open the new one. Edited November 30, 2007 by LarryAZ Quote Link to comment
0 MullinRJ
Larry, ???You did what I always do - you changed the application name to reflect the version. And then I always forget to change it back until AFTER I run an updater at least once. ???Change the application name back to "VectorWorks" and run the updater again. Then to check the version, launch VW and look at the About VW splash screen. It should have 80532 as the build number. Ignore the man behind the curtain and the Get Info window in the Finder. It lies. ???Give it one more try. Raymond Quote Link to comment
