mightylittle?
was it eliminated from 2008? help! i can't find it! i use it for labeling all of my equipment plans. if it has been removed from 2008, does someone have a good suggestion for what other tool to use for sequential numbering with user-defined prefixes? thanks! -ml Quote Link to comment
Guest
It's called the Number Stamp tool, and it is not a standard tool in the workspace. You can add this to your workspace using the workspace editor. Quote Link to comment

bonus
Is there a list of all tools that are not standard in the workspace? Maybe there are more useful ones? Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Bonus, if you open your workspace editor you will be able to find every available tool or menu item by clicking the "all tools/menus" tab(s). They are listed alphabetically. Have fun! Edited December 21, 2007 by CipesDesign Quote Link to comment
bonus
Yes Peter, I knew of that one, but you see I'm a lazy one....I thought maybe there would be a list showing just the tools that weren't in the standard setting - all those available, but not in the basic workspace. It takes some time to check them all out. Anyway, thank's for your concern....and have a merry X-mas! Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Well I'm lazy too. Perhaps lazier than you. What I was suggesting is that by merely opening the WorkSpace Editor you can see your list. It's right there. No, you can't try every tool/command from there, but you can at least see what you might otherwise have missed...Happy Holidays to you as well ;-) Quote Link to comment
