Cannot see HASP licensing manager.

I have installed the HASP licensing manager and red dongle on a box (windows XP), following the instructions to the letter. I go to run the VectorWorks software on a different client PC and it displays the error:

Network Dongle Protection Error

No active network dongle server (HASP License Manager) was found. Vectorworks will now quit

The XP box (with licensing manager) is on the same pyhsical network, no firewall, same domain, etc.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Did you use the HASP License manager and Dongle Drivers from the DVD?

If so, try these instead:

ftp://ftp.aladdin.com/pub/hasp/new_releases/driver/HASP4_driver_setup.zip

ftp://ftp.aladdin.com/pub/hasp/hl/windows/installed/redistribute/lm/HASP_License_Manager.zip

Unfortunately that has not worked

Can I force the client to look to the machine which has the license software installed????

Problem solved! I had the Windows firewall running on the PC that I was testing VW 2008 with :blush:
