Sorry I was in an old drawing and selected a Viewport which of course scaled - are you in a Design Layer or Sheet Layer?

What do you have in the Worksheet if it is just text just make the text bigger.

I just went back to to VW12.5.2 (Mac) and I don't have any option to scale a Worksheet on Drawing. If I try Modify:Scale, I get the same message (different presentation of course), that Object Can't Be Scaled. Doesn't matter if I do symetrically or Asymentrically.

What do you have to do in 12.5 to scale a worksheet?

If you can scale a worksheet, it's by way of a third party product as this is not a standard behavior in VW.

The other option to scale a worksheet is to convert the worksheet on the drawing to lines, then scale the network of lines and text. Of course, it's no longer a worksheet if you do this.

Ooh looks like that is not possible anymore.

You used to be able to convert to group, then convert to lines.

Yep. I have that effect.

I know I did this in VW 11. It was the only way I could get the worksheets to export to dwg without having to export the worksheet as a separate text file.

Bummer - Ozcads Worksheet on Drawing will still allow you to Ungroup but without it what is happening in VW 2008 - could it be called a bug?

So, is there a way to export a worksheet to a DWG file. I have a sheet with an embedded worksheet, plus other lines/graphics. When I export the sheet, I get everything EXCEPT the worksheet.

Thanks

Your two easiest options are to:

1. Upgrade to VW2008

2. Go to and buy a copy of Julian Carr's Worksheet on Drawing. It will convert your worksheet to lines and text that will then export properly.

Thank you. Both are viable options; however, it would be nice to have the feature from VW in 12.5.3.
