How can I tell if I have SP1 installed?

I am on a mac 10.5 leopard, running VW 2008. I want to confirm that I have installed service pack 1 correctly. according to the about window I am running 13.0.0(76681). I would have expected 13.0.1.

That sounds like you do not have SP 1 installed.

If you run the updater to SP 1, it can determine whether or not SP 1 is installed. If it is installed, the updater will alert you of this.

Well I just put this up to speculation but maybe 76681 is the SP1 student version? eh?

76681 is the original VW 2008 build, prior to Service Pack 1.

78970 is the build for Service Pack 1.

(The higher the build number, the more recent the version)

If you find VW is reporting you have build 76681, you do not have Service Pack 1 installed.

All this is so complex. Can you not just drop down the help and about vw menu and it says there if SP1 is installed?

Just done it on one pc to help rid of 'screen flicker' problem. Will now test and see if this has helped but immediately noticed that the text res is low. Text that could easily be read pre SP1 is now fuzzy?

Yes - the Help > About VectorWorks will state "Service Pack 1" at the end of the version number when installed.
