custom line styles

I find line styles found in VW very limited (I cant find depression lines for example which for me should look like theese:

So, anyway - how to create/load custom line styles?

p.s. This depiction of depression line seems be fine while editing but after posting it's screwed but I hope everyone understands what I mean.

To use the official NNA expression: you don't. (I find the line styles depressing...)

Well, you can create your own custom dash styles using the dash style editor, but the dashes are just that; dashes of verying length the spacing all with the same line thickness as the rest of the line.

If you need to create a line style that can not be created from the dash style editor, i.e. the depression line style you are depicting, or a line style that incorporates a o or an x instead of a dash, you'll need to look to VectorScript for help.

what about making the symbol for part of the line style that want and then using the Repetitive Unit tool. I?ve used the repetitive unit tool to draw custom lines with text in them, but i don?t see why your one wouldn?t work.
