Bruce Kieffer
Too often VectorWorks files become corrupt. I think this happens when a file becomes complex beyond the available RAM and allocated RAM, and it does not take much complexity to achieve that state. Once this happens, strange things start occurring when ungrouping and viewing and hiding classes. The corruption usually manifests itself as a failed solid subtaction. My question is: Is there a way to check for these corruptions and then fixed them without losing all my work time since the file's last uncorrupt back up? Quote Link to comment
MikeB
I think your problem may be else where, we often have complex files up to 10 Mb with no problem other than the occasional corruption(usually associated with server crash) We have approx 14 Mac's all G3 or higher all on OS 8 or higher. Bruce Kieffer
Mike, Do you work with classes and solid subtraction? Much of my work is curved shapes. Quote Link to comment
