BenW
As Leopard is due to be released publicly next Friday. 10/26/2007, can Nemetschek release a compatibility statement? Has it been tested, are there any known problems, or reasons not to install Leopard? Thank you. Quote Link to comment
Guest
There are several discussions throughout the board on this topic. You can expect a compatibility statement as soon as the final version is available to the public - on or around the 26th of October. We have been testing Leopard with VectorWorks 2008 and expect VW to be fully functional alongside Leopard. To date, there are a few minor cosmetic issues being addressed as quickly as possible. Christiaan
I really hope NNA has had the forethought to make v13 files compatible with Quicklook in Leopard. Especially the ability to flip through layers [without opening them in VW]. http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/quicklook.html Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted October 22, 2007 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 22, 2007 Christiaan, I think QuickLook allows only one view per file. Your idea of flipping through layers, while interesting, isn't supported by the OS. Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
I'm flipping through multi-page Keynote documents and PDFs as we speak Robert. Could be available to only certain kinds of documents I guess. Sad to see VectorWorks doesn't support QuickLook at all yet though. Quote Link to comment
