Paul Dolan Posted May 8, 2000 Share Posted May 8, 2000 I have a performa 6400/200 with 104 ram 56000 assigned to vectorworks. With a drawing having a lot of symbols it is constantly crashing with errpor type 2 why? I fixed it for a while when i installed upgrade onto 8.5.1 Anyone any ideas? PAUL Quote Link to comment
Guest Posted May 8, 2000 Share Posted May 8, 2000 Unfortunately it sounds as though you are running out of memory. Try allocating more virtual memory to compensate. Also, check your VectorWorks memory allocation. Set your minimum to the suggested amount, set your preferred at appx. 40,000 to 50,000. Perhaps you may wish to install more ram to your system as the price is relatively low currently.
