Creating Groundrow Positions....How??

I'm sure my five readings of the manual, as well as searching the forum, have missed the answer to this, but....

How do I create a groundrow position that isn't a pipe...or make the pipe invisible?

In theory, you can turn any object into a hanging position, and place it anywhere you want. I usually just draw a line, give it no color and turn that into a hanging position. All you need to do then is reference the instruments to that hanging position in the object info palette and you're set.

Thanks. Naturally I figured it out two minutes after posting. Now I'm scratching my head over moving light labels. It never ends.

I DIDN'T WANT TO NUMBER THEM ON THE PIPE, BUT EVERY TIME I REFRESH INSTRUMENTS, THEY GET NUMBERED.

Select the position and right click, selecting Properties. In the Properties box, un-check auto-number

Do a search in the Help .pdf file for auto-number as there's a way to do this globally, I'm just not at the machine with VW on it so can't tell you.
