Daredevil
In users' opinion, are the VW templates that come with the program flexible enough for setting up a residential project or you guys find it better to create your own templates from scratch? (demo sheets and associated dashed lines, framing plan etc?) Windows, VW Architect 12,5, Thank you! Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
it?s much better to set up your own standards and templates. VectorWorks is very flexible and if you take the trouble to learn how to edit the default libraries, how to set up your own layer and class standards and set up your own templates you will be rewarded 10-100 fold in productivity terms. If you learn to edit your workspace and make custom tools (using simple scripts) VectorWorks becomes easier to use more powerful, faster.... And so on. strangely, all these things are covered in my VectorWorks Architect Tutorial available from : https://plus36.safe-order.net/archoncad/manuals/manuals.php Quote Link to comment
