i am having some trouble with a DWG file of plans of a house. when i import the file, to 1/4" scale, it appears fine but all doors, windows, and walls have been converted to proxy symbols and show up as blank rectangles. it renders the plan vitually useless. i have tried editting some of the symbols but they are 3D polygons. you cannot snap to thosein 2D plan. i have tried replacing some of the symbols with door objects, for example, but they end up at a insertion point that is the corner of the house. i have tried importing it with different settings, but its all the same. can someone give me some advice or tips to try? the files i am importing are .DWG and i presume they were created in autocad. any help would be appreciated.
