a+pg Posted March 23, 2000 Share Posted March 23, 2000 I am an architect working in an office that has recently upgraded to VW 8.5.1. Since upgrading, I haven't been able to print to the HP DesignJet 700 d-size plotter the firm operates via ethernet. No one else seems to have the problem, but when I try to plot, the desktop print monitor cyles repeatedly through the "processing," "printing," and "starting job" states. The plotter itself indicates that it is receiving data for an period, but then reverts to "ready." It then begins the cycle all over again, but nothing actually prints. I have tried basic troubleshooting; desktop rebuild, PRAM, re-installation of VW and printer driver, removing preferences, preliminary extension check, etc., but no luck. I haven't tried a clean install of the system, and would like to avoid doing so. Any ideas? Thanks, John McKelvey Quote Link to comment
