An object deleting itself

Can you make an object that deletes itself?

The only way an object is getting deleted is if either it or the class it belongs to is deleted. If the class is being deleted, you have the option to move all objects in the class to another class of your choice or delete those objects.

I want to do it programaticly, that why I posted it in VectorScript.

Deletes itself after what? After a certain amount of time, or after you place another object, or or after other code runs? You can always get a handle to the last object created and delete it, but why would you place it if you want to delete it?

because I want to make kind of menucommand but like a tool.

But with tools, you'll need to click somewhere in the drawing before the code is run.

For objects, you can use events to do something directly after clicking its icon. But after all the commands are done, I want to quit the code and not waiting for user input.
