How do I control the Colour of a Plant Label?

This question comes from an issue I am having with my current drawing.

All my plants are on the same layer and tags are showing as 'black' text, however I have just placed a couple of plants (on the same layer) and the plant tags are showing as a shade of grey and I cant for the life of me work out how to resolve this.

A (maybe) related behaviour is that some of the lines in the plant symbols are showing as this same shade of grey.

Any help would be appreciated.

When you creat a plant you can specify a class for the plant tag. If the class for the plant tag is given a grey colour, then the plant tags would be grey. Check this first. Go to the place plant tool and edit the p[lants. There is a box at the bottom for the class assignment for the plant tag.
