VectorScript objects and IFC

Each time you say good-bye, you unleash some wicked hyperbole, stomp out the door and swear that you are done. Within weeks, you slink back in and begin to throw your barbs at other forum members.

Was my original question really too long and complicated for this geek? Dear me!

OK, let's see what actually happened.

I posted a very simple question. The Dutch Genius Gerard "Petri, you are deluded!" Jonker didn't have the faintest idea of the subject but nevertheless decided to let us all know how ignorant he is.

And then the other ignoramuses joined in to tell that they know even less than Mr. Jonker.

Now, I'm the culprit?

The Dutch Genius Gerard "Petri, you are deluded!" Jonker

Hi Petri,

I forgot in which topic I wrote that, but I do remember I wrote it because I hesitated before sending that. Obviously it came across in a more offensive way than I meant. I sincerely apologize.

Was it our discussion about the ellipses? Might well have been the reason why we never finished that discussion. You never managed to explain why the VectorWorks ellipses isn't a true ellipses, I understand that may very well be caused by the obvious omissions in my education, or the sheer lack of intelligence on my part.

Or was it the discussion about Secular Islamic Architecture? When Dennis got your full load because he accidentally sent a private mail to list, explaining to me the difference between an oxymoron and a moron. (I, as usually showing the full depth of my ignorance, called it a contradiction).

I'm deeply sorry I offended you, then and in any other occurrence.

Regards,

Gerard Jonker

Well, I may have some intelligent questions to ask. I may have some intelligent answers to give.

You, Mr. Geek, with your six posts & main interest in being a geek, obviously have no capacity to either. I also notice you have registered only a couple of months ago and during that time your main interest has been questioning what I do here.

Well, well - you surely contribute exactly to your full capacity!

Petri,

I have self-appointed myself to document your significant contributions to this board. Please keep it up.

The Petri Top 10 (with apologies to those he has offended):

----------------------------------------------------------------------

"It is interesting to note that the "VP Integrated Products" cannot understand or acknowledge any other uses for VW than (McMansion) "architecture"."

"Well, in that case you are a complete idiot, because you don't understand what I wrote above."

"VW will never become useful outside the U.S. of A: the Powers That Be are ignorant and myopic."

"Look - I don't really care whether you call it RFP, RCP or YMCA. Just make yourself understandable. "

"Your wish is my command. Ignore this user... Poof! You're gone!"

"You refer to feet and inches, so you must live in the U. S. of A, the proud herald of obsolete dimensions. Fine, good, excellent! That explains at least the language. "

"Dear me! Is this some sort of a religious board? I had no idea... Logging out for good. "

"Of course it is a blessing, too: as far as we don't actually know what the other party is talking about, we can be just as bitchy and condescending [as] we like."

"The overwhelming majority in either respect could not care less for your political statement. Thank you for your attention and please carry on inspecting your navel-lint."

"Back to the drawing board, people!"

Petri, you're missing the whole point of these lists. You can't just list the name and date of each post. What good is that? You have to provide actual text from the post. And you have to select only the funny parts. Okay? Now come on, try again.

You should also keep in mind that "VectorGeek" is obviously an alter ego of someone who normally posts under a different name, and that the name itself, the photo, and even the style of his posts are all a parody of you. Everyone else understands that, so you should adjust your repartie accordingly.

Look, maybe this is too subtle for you. Why not stick to ethnic slurs? You're good with ethnic slurs. VG says he's from "Earth." Can't you think of any insulting things to say about Earth? You're a Vulcan, after all. Can't you say something about our emotional nature, our illogical thought processes?

I am, am I? Well, dear jan15, maybe YOU can enlighten me about the subject? Surely, with your grandstanding (either as yourself or as your "alter ego"), you can provide some useful information about VectorScript objects and IFC? No? Well, I didn't think you can.

Can you provide any useful information about VW at all?

EDIT

Dear me. The most valued & respected VW/IFC-expert and VS-specialist extraordinaire jan15 seems to spend most of his time fighting straw men! (Just checking the profile:

Cross-post to the PetriCad humor thread

As Petri pointed out, this thread should be only for VectorScript and IFC discussion. Since neither his post nor my reply have anything to say on that topic, I made my reply in the PetriCad thread, to which VectorGeek transferred his post a week ago.

If anyone would like to continue the VS/IFC discussion, perhaps they should pick it up at the last relevant post:

And then the other ignoramuses joined in to tell that they know even less than Mr. Jonker.
