Matt P
Hey there, I'm trying to have large plots of plants 2 spread and 1.5 spacing by using the rectangular array mode or triangular array mode with plain circles with no render inside, and the 'mass overlapping' box ticked so that it only shows the outline and not the centre lines. To give an overall form shape - this is on a 1:1000 scale on an A1 so its quite conceptual. Y'know - pretty straight forward i thought. But! no matter what shape i do - or what rendering i do, or whatever - it always completes a few circles on one side. Is this a known bug - i can't seem to find a way around it. I'm an autocad man trying my hand at vectorworks Any help would be much appreciated thanks Quote Link to comment
Guest
Matt, Can you send the file to bugsubmit@nemetschek.net along with the OS and VW version you are using? Please include this description of the problem as well. Quote Link to comment

Dirtworker
I have had this same problem. A few plants do not mass but leave full circle plant shape, (simple perennials just a circle symbol) VW 12.5 on Power Mac G5 1GB os10.4.10 Quote Link to comment

landscape archiberry
Matt, I know this topic is old now, but I discovered that I only had this problem when I used 'no outline'. If I used one or more outlines, the circles massed like they were supposed to, with no rogue circles popping up at the end. Doesn't sound logical, I know, but it worked.
