Ethan
Is it me, or has Vectorworks changed the way Undo works with Nudge? If I recall, all consecutive nudges were undone by one command, but now each pixel is treated as its own Undo action. When I nudge objects around too much, it effectively kills my undo history so I can't go back to before I started nudging things. Ethan MacOS 10.4.10 Vectorworks 12.5.2 Quote Link to comment
ccroft
I can confirm this for you Ethan. In 11.5 consecutive nudges are treated as one action. Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Ethan My nudges in 12.5.2 undo as groups. Nudge 10 times and undo puts the object back where it was before 1st nudge. Seems like earlier versions of VW had a pref for this, something like "Undo Consecutive Nudges as Single Action" in the VW Preferences, Session tab. But I can't find it in 12.5.2 preferences or document preferences. I also could not find anything about this in searching the on screen help or the manual. Must be there somewhere. -B Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Perhaps... Zoom way in ... Nudges increment by pixel Zoom way out ... Nudges act on a group of pixels The amount of Undo used correlates with the scale resolution of the pixellated Nudge. Quote Link to comment
