Carl Newton
Hi all I have been trying to find hi-quality textures for new and weathered timber cladding, green and seasoned oak beams and Douglas fir etc. I have Dosch and Marlin and I have trawled the web but no luck. Quote Link to comment
Gytis
Have you tried Arroway ? They have really high quality textures, I remember seeing weathered.... Quote Link to comment
Carl Newton
Hy Gytis Thanks, they do have some great textures and the weathered patio looks very good unfortunately they don't have the cladding patterns I am looking for or the plain wood textures, they all have various flooring patterns, brilliant if you want that pattern. It would be fantastic if someone like Arroway would put together a DVD containing purely timber textures, Cladding, house decking, Yacht decking and Plain timber with a cut, planed, new, and weathered texture to it. I don't now what the architecture is like in the Bronx but in the UK there has been an explosion of designs and construction that use timber, zinc and copper claddings from traditional Oak frame designs to state of the art multi-story buildings. The environment and sustainable building and design has also become a major issue. If Arroway or anybody-els produces such a DVD let me Know! Quote Link to comment
iSymbol-franklin
I think you guys are searching for photorealistic textures instead of illustrated ones? If not let me know I'll set some up for you...email me a picture and I'll draw it up as a illustrated version. more (texture) examples check my website: http://en.isymbol.eu Quote Link to comment
