Exporting VW file as DWG

When I export a VW file as a DWG file and open it in ACAD all the dimension text has a frame around them, when printed. The frame does not show up when viewed on the ACAD screen. They also show up when you do a print preview. Can anyone tell me what the problem is, and what the fix may be?

The only thing I can think of is that an Autocad dimension style can automatically draw a box around the dimension text (Format > Dimension Style > Modify > Text tab). But if that's it you should see the box on screen, too, not just in the print-out.

Is there a box around the text of dimensions created in Autocad? (Try it in the VW-exported file and in a new AC file.)
