markmcconnell
I have a number of my designers working on roll-out client projects, working on VW files from a G5 server over network. We use the resource browser favourites regularly, but they are always removed when a users machine logs off the network. Simply quitting VW doesn't effect the favorites. Is there a solution? It's a real waste of our time re-referencing. Quote Link to comment
Taproot
I'm noticing the same thing, only in my case the favorites revert to the shipped defaults every time the program crashes. My favorites are local, so I don't have the referencing problem. Perhaps a work-around could be found by replacing the "default" file information with my "custom" favorites. That way when VW resets itself, it would reset to the correct settings. Does anyone know where the default favorite settings are stored? Mark, this might work for both of our issues... johndazzo
After VW crashed, I reopened the program and noticed there were no favorites in the resoruce browser. Where/how do i reload these items into the resource browser? Quote Link to comment
jeffroyer
they should be in the libraries folder of your vectorworks file. Either "objects imperial" or "objects metric" You put them in through the resource browser under "files and folders" Quote Link to comment
