dontevenjoke
I have been given a 3D Autocad file that I'm am trying to adjust and then render with textures etc. I have tried all the info in the manuals but have not had a win. Is there a work-around that is successful? Thanks Quote Link to comment
islandmon
All VW 3d polygons shall be closed and must have "Fill" = true , if they are to accept a texture for render. Quote Link to comment
dontevenjoke
Do you mean that if they aren't 'filled' they can't be rendered? Can you convert a Autocad file if it is not 'filled'? Quote Link to comment
propstuff
Do you mean that if they aren't 'filled' they can't be rendered? Correct; they behave like wireframe Can you convert a Autocad file if it is not 'filled'? In VW pretty well any 2D or 3D object (some exceptions) can have a solid fill or not as you choose. Simply go to the Attributes Pallette and set the objects Fill (paint Bucket) to solid N. Edited July 3, 2007 by propstuff Quote Link to comment
