BandA
I recently updated to VW 12.5.2 and now i'm finding that my previously set up viewports won't render at all when using any of the renderworks rendering options (ie, open gl, final quality renderwork). Once the 'rendering' is complete, all the viewport shows is a grey background with an 'X' over it. The only thing i can think of is that 'update plug-in objects' command messed with something because I opened a pre-12.5.2 version of the drawing I had and the viewports rendered fine. Was something changed in 12.5.2 that could cause this? Just to be sure, I created a new viewport entirely and tried rendering it, but got the same result. This is a crucial aspect of my drawing as I cannot update my elevation drawings without it and deadlines are approaching this afternoon. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Historically a "grey background" indicates a bitmap resolution issue > like when you zoom in too far on an imported image. Check your Display and VP resolutions. Quote Link to comment
panthony
BandA, I am having no problem with viewport rendering in 12.5.2 so far. I have my final quality renderworks viewport set to background none and orthogonal with an 35% amibient light settings. Can you list your settings for the rendered viewport?
