Ronin X
Does anyone know if VW is set up to utilize a 3D type mouse? I found a life saver at www.3dconnexion.com, which takes about 30-50% off of mouse use for zoom/Pan/scroll/flyover etc., etc. with TINY finger movements, but cant seem to get VW to work with it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Quote Link to comment
G_Hannigan
I have the Space Navigator. It only pans & zooms in VW, but the action is not smooth. NNA would need to create a driver for it to be supported. It does work in Cinema 4D - Maxon has included a control panel as part of the program. 3dconnexion is part of Logitech who is selling an interesting variation: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/design_controller/devices/407&cl=us,en Quote Link to comment
QuietStorm
I have tried to set up and get some support for the logitech nulooq device, without much luck. It would be great to have some fly around navigation drivers built-in and put these left hand tools to use. Quote Link to comment
G_Hannigan
This thread at the 3dconnexion support forum is about a user created driver that claims to make the Space Navigator usable with almost any program. Haven't tried it. http://www.3dconnexion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=336 George Quote Link to comment
